During its conception while researching the background of Tencate Geosynthetics, we dug out the company’s interesting history that dated back to 1953, the year that saw a catastrophic flood sweeping away 200o lives in Holland. Tencate was born out of the Dutch’s strong will to survive, as they began to work on new technologies of dike that will be able to withstand the harshest of the nature harst forces.

We decided to include this remarkable story into the sales aid as it depicts Tencate’s strong experiences and firm establishment in geosynthetics industry. Glad we did because it gave much spice and life to the otherwise lengthy piece.
